Russia sends peace draft, says ‘decision is in Ukraine’

Comments on peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine which has been stalled, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that Moscow had passed on to Kiev a “draft text on peace” with specific terms.

“The decision now rests with Kiev, we are waiting for their response,” Peskov said. The time limit for Ukraine to respond will also depend on Kiev, according to RT station.

Mr. Peskov added that the Ukrainian side “has not shown any desire to intensify the negotiation process.” Putin’s spokesman accused Ukraine of “repeatedly ignoring Moscow’s statements and constantly changing them”.
