In March 2021, Xiao Fen contacted Tien to ask to pick up some Chinese people who illegally entered Ho Chi Minh City and find a place for them to stay.

After that, Tien had 3 times welcomed 20 Chinese people who entered illegally, brought them to the basement of Sunrise City New apartment, then called Minh and Hieu to bring them up to 2 apartments of the apartment to stay and buy food and water. help.

Tien said, the defendant helped these Chinese people without self-interest, even had to take care of their meals and transportation, the purpose was to repay Xiao Fen because the defendant had previously received help from other people. this.

5 Chinese people declared illegal entry into Vietnam through the northern border and then moved to Ho Chi Minh City with the help of Tien, Minh, and Hieu. After that, the Chinese group was administratively sanctioned and deported back to the country.

During the investigation, the defendants repented and confessed. Defendant Tien commits a crime for the first time, under difficult circumstances, is raising 4 small children, including 1 child under 18 months old.

After considering, the trial panel decided to sentence defendant Tien to 3 years in prison, defendants Minh and Hieu to 1 year and 6 months each.
