According to the document, in 2018, despite being a freelance worker, through the social network zalo, Tuan got acquainted with Ms. LTH (SN 1977, residing in Quan Lao town, Yen Dinh district) pretending to be a working official. at a unit under the Ministry of Public Security and holds the rank of Colonel.

In September 2019, Tuan lied to Ms. H that on her way to work in Nghe An caused a traffic accident that killed 2 people, so she asked for a loan of 470 million VND to solve it. Then, from May 2020 to October 2020, Tuan continued to use many reasons to borrow more than 800 million VND from Ms.

Ms. H’s loan is more than 1.2 billion VND, Tuan invests in securities, personal consumption… However, when Ms. H asked for money, Tuan did not pay, changed his phone number and fled to Binh Duong . Seeing that, Ms. H knew she had been cheated, so she went to the police to report.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Investigation Police Agency investigated and arrested Tuan while hiding in the southern provinces.

At the police station, Tuan confessed that he went on the internet to order fake police uniforms and impersonated police officers to cheat and appropriate the property of many gullible people.

The police agency also informed that anyone who is Tuan’s victim should contact the nearest police station for settlement.
