An electric car model called Wuling Air ev has been officially revealed through an image posted on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. Accordingly, Wuling Air ev will have 2 versions: short wheelbase SWB as well as long wheelbase LWB.
Specifically, the LWB version has a length of 2,974 mm, a width of 1,505 mm, a height of 1,631 mm and a wheelbase of 2,010 mm and a weight of 860 kg. Meanwhile, the SWB version has dimensions of 2,599 mm, 1,505 mm, 1,640 mm, 1,635 mm and 760 kg, respectively.
Wuling Air ev is equipped with a daytime positioning LED strip that crosses the front of the car and extends to the exterior mirror cover. Below the LED daytime running lights is the car’s charging port with the cap integrated with the silver logo of the Wuling brand. Next is the Halogen headlight cluster, which is quite large in size and is surrounded by a black border. In addition, the car also has a front bumper, integrated fog lights and a central air cavity.
On the side, this model has only 2 doors and is equipped with quite small rims. In the SWB version, the car will not have a small window behind the B column like the LWB version.
The rear of the Air ev is equipped with a strip of lights across the rear of the car, just above the Wuling Braille stamp. In addition, there are rectangular vertical taillights and a 2-color rear bumper.
Powering the car can be a powerful 40-horsepower electric motor, driving to the front wheels. The electric motor is combined with a lithium-iron-phosphate (LiFePO4) battery pack, promising to help the car run for 305 km after fully charging the battery. In addition, the car also owns a maximum speed of 100 km / h.
Wuling Air ev is expected to have a starting price of less than 55,000 yuan (VND 192.5 million) for the SWB version and RMB 65,000 (about VND 227.5 million for the LWB version.
