Beautiful dark house with no dead corners after renovation
Ms. Cao Thuy Lan lives in Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa). For a long time, she and her brother have cherished owning a house to display to their liking. When they bought the first house, even though it was old, they were very happy. Because after many years of accumulating, the two also fulfilled their dream.
However, after buying, there is not much money left, so Lan rents it out first. Expected, in a while, enough money will be repaired. Unexpectedly, the house is so old, no one rents it, leaks all year round even though it has been repaired.
This time, she decided to make it big, putting all the last money into renovating for 4 months. The total cost is about 190 million VND.
The façade and architecture inside the house lacks aesthetics and is dark even though it is quite solidly built.
The owner allowed to renovate the outside by painting white, re-installing the corrugated iron and painting the exterior waterproofing.
Inside completely redone. The front part of the door is knocked out, designed in Korean style and using large glass doors to get light.
While her brother took care of the construction, repair and supervision of the project. She is in charge of decor, looking for plants and items such as cabinets, tables, chairs, and beds. Most of them buy second-hand things to decorate according to their preferences.
Overall, I don’t dare to fix much because if I show it, the cost will be high. Initially, it was calculated only about 120 million VND, but after completing it, it became 190 million VND.
Facade design in Korean style.
The house has 5 bedrooms, each room is decorated in the same style but with the same romantic vintage style. White is the main color and uses yellow, green or pink as accents. The colors are reasonably distributed with 60% as the dominant color, 20% as the accent color and 10% as the neutral color.
Bamboo and rattan furniture is used for a close, rustic but still luxurious space.
The beautiful rooms are breathtaking with window frames filled with light and wind for deep sleep.
Every detail in the house is meticulously cared for by Ms. Lan, so that every day is full of life energy.
“Taking care of and decorating my living space by myself is what makes me happy and joyful. After using it for a while, thanks to being kept, my house is still like new,” Ms. Lan confided.
