Ho Chi Minh City only has 1 F0 in concentrated isolation

According to the report of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, on April 21, the city had 94 cases of COVID-19, including 81 cases detected at medical examination and treatment facilities and 13 cases detected in the community.

According to the Department of Health, the number of hospitalizations per day is 48 patients, 544 are being treated at the hospital, of which 468 are on the 2nd floor and 76 are on the 3rd floor.

Notably, the city has only 1 case remaining in isolation at concentrated isolation facilities (districts, districts, wards and communes), no F0 isolated at isolation points of export processing zones and industrial zones.

Yesterday, Ms. Le Thien Quynh Nhu, Chief of Office of the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the number of new COVID-19 cases and severe cases of the city at this time all decreased deeply, for many days there were no deaths. However, Ms. Nhu affirmed, the health sector is still cautious about the risk that new strains of SARS-COV-2 will appear in the future.

Regarding the vaccination campaign for children aged 5-11, by the end of April 20, the city had vaccinated 93,562 children. In the whole area, 1,798 children were delayed in vaccination and 458 children were assigned to be vaccinated at the hospital.
