HOT: The Ministry of Public Security inspects another golden land project along the coast of Binh Thuan

The Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security continued to inspect the field of Xuan Quynh tourism project, which belongs to Mui Ne National Tourist Area – Phan Thiet City, which owns a prime coastal location.

Continuing to verify information denounced by citizens about projects showing signs of wrongdoing in Binh Thuan, on the afternoon of April 22, the Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Supreme People’s Procuracy and a number of relevant departments and agencies. of Binh Thuan province to measure and check the current status of Xuan Quynh tourism project, in Mui Ne ward, Phan Thiet city.

Xuan Quynh tourism project is located at the back beach of Mui Ne, owning a favorable seafront location in Mui Ne National Tourist Area. The project has a scale of 24,000 m2, with frontage adjacent to Nguyen Huu Tho – Mui Ne street, approved by the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province to invest and adjust the area in February 2021.

Along with the project of Phan Thiet beach tourism urban area, Xuan Quynh tourism project with an investor is Rang Dong – Binh Thuan Group. These two projects are among the 9 projects that the Ministry of Public Security’s Investment Police Agency is accepting to deal with criminal information about violations of regulations on management and use of State assets, causing losses and waste; violations of regulations on land management and abuse of positions and powers while performing official duties occurred in Binh Thuan.

The 9 projects mentioned above have basically been coordinated by the Ministry of Public Security to measure and inspect the field to solve the source of criminal denunciations related to signs of violations in land allocation and management in Binh Thuan.

Previously, on February 10, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused and detained Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai – former Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Luong Van Hai – former Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Province. Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee and 3 leaders, former leaders of Binh Thuan province’s departments are involved in the case of land allocation violations at the project of Tan Viet Phat 2 commercial and service area, which is also one of the 9 projects. The case is handled and investigated by the Ministry of Public Security.
