Midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai has reached a preliminary agreement with Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub (LASK) club. The two sides have not signed a contract but it is expected to have a 3-year term with undisclosed remuneration regimes.

A year later also in the Europa League, LASK drew 3-3 in the first leg of the group stage against another British representative, Tottenham. However, in the second leg, LASK lost 0-3 to the opponent.
