Sega is about to release more games to the Sonic Origins collection
Sonic Origins will bring four more classic Sonic games to consoles and PCs this coming June.
According to Engadget, Sega knows that the fan community has always wanted to replay classic 2D Sonic the Hedgehog games, and the company is ready to bring them to life.

The company announced that the collection Sonic Origins Their release will be out June 23 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch. The standard version will include remakes of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD, sold for $40. While the Digital Deluxe version will add difficult missions, music and exclusive items, the price for the version is 45 USD.
Each game features remastered graphics and other ‘improvements’ for modern hardware devices. Players can play games at their original settings (including the old aspect ratio), but can also experiment with features and modes not available on Genesis or Mega Drive.
Players can play characters like Sonic, Tails or Knuckles in any game, and the Anniversary Mode offers widescreen scaling with an infinite number of lives. Medals can also be earned for unlocking content by completing quests.
One thing that will probably disappoint fans is Knuckles Chaotix will not be released with the collection Sonic Origins.
