The incident happened outside the Mill Park residential area, in the town of Clondalkin – which is located near the center of Dublin, Republic of Ireland and was recorded by surveillance cameras.
Specifically, a person women was walking into the main gate of the residential area when suddenly a young man approached from behind. Immediately after, he snatched the bag from the woman’s hand and attacked the victim with a knife.
Being robbed by surprise, the woman was still determined to hold onto the property, while dodging the robber’s frantic attack. After several minutes of struggle, the robber had to turn around and run away because he could not rob the property.
The woman was later taken to the hospital with several stab wounds to her arm. Fortunately, the victim’s life was not in danger.
