Thousands of students responded to the 21-day run with S-Race Online in the Central region

After 3 weeks of officially opening the “virtual running” portal, S-Race Online in Central has attracted more than 2,000 students and registered students to participate and the monitoring and cheering of millions of students nationwide. During the challenge, social networks appeared flooded with check-in photos and reviews of attendees.

S-Race Online is organized in the form of virtual running by the Department of Physical Education (Ministry of Education and Training), Sports Program Production Board (Vietnam Television), TH Group, Television Company. through Unicomm (Unic) and Vietnam Athletics Federation. Participants are encouraged to run for 21 consecutive days to reach the minimum distance of 63 km (male students, high school boys), 42 km (female students, high school girls, junior high school students).

At S-Race Online Central, the participating runners are all winners when they overcome themselves and complete the set distance. Their participation not only promotes the spirit of sports, spreads a healthy lifestyle, positive habits of exercise and sports, but also inspires the spiritual life, and connects students to the world. students across the country with the joy of running.

Up to now, S-Race Online has attracted 1,250 students, 1,094 high school students and 521 middle school students to participate. The valid mileage recorded by the system is 35,136 km. This is a very impressive achievement for a virtual running challenge.

S-Race Online is expected to continue to be held in 19 southern provinces: Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Long An, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Vinh Long, Dong Thap, Soc Trang, Hau Giang, An Giang, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre. The challenge will open for registration from April 24, 2022 and will continue to accept registrations for the duration of the online challenge (from May 1 to May 21, 2022).

“We hope that S-Race will not only be a healthy playground to nurture a love of sports for the young generation, but also a lever to contribute to changing the awareness of the whole society in the work of nutrition care combined with physical activity.
