Video shows Mike Tyson in a physically altered state on a Jet Blue flight
Video recorded on a Jet Blue flight shows former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson in an altercation with someone who his representatives allege harassed the former boxer.
The short clip, first posted on Thursday by TMZ Sports, shows Tyson appearing to try to punch someone pushing him away.
In the video, someone can be heard saying, “Mike, Mike.”
A representative for Tyson, 55, said in a statement that he had an incident on a flight with another passenger, who “began harassing him and throwing a water bottle at him while he was flying.” sit in your chair.”
The airline declined to comment and the video does not show what happened before the conflict.
The second passenger has yet to be identified.
The San Francisco Police Department said in a statement that officers interviewed two people at the airport’s domestic terminal Wednesday night after it was reported that they had a change on a flight.
The statement, which did not name Tyson, said that one of the people was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. The person provided some details about what happened and refused to cooperate with authorities, the statement said.
No one was arrested, the statement said.
