Before that, at the beginning of 2022, Vietcombank adjusted the fee SMS Banking from 11,000 VND/month to 11,000-77,000 VND/month and encountered many dissatisfied complaints from customers.
Specifically, the number of SMS messages under 20 messages is charged 11,000 VND/month, from 20 to less than 50 messages costs 27,500 VND/month, from 50 to less than 100 messages costs 55,000 VND/month and from 100 Messages and above are charged 77,000 VND/month.
In addition, customers who have actively used SMS in February, March, and April 2022, to accompany and share with customers, Vietcombank will collect service fees at the rate of VND 11,000/month, not distinguish the number of messages.
Customers can also replace the proactive SMS service with the balance notification service via VCB Digibank application (OTT Alert service) COMPLETELY FREE while still being fully supported with account balance change notifications. , card spending transactions, periodic repayment reminders, service information, outstanding promotions and many other information from Vietcombank.
