With an additional VND 18 billion in sponsorship, the Organizing Committee is ready for a special SEA Games

(Sports news, SEA Games news) With the 7th diamond sponsor, the 31st SEA Games organizers are determined to organize a special congress.

Up to April 22, the 31st SEA Games organizers had called for 6 Diamond sponsors and many other companions. It is estimated that the target of 70 billion VND as committed has been achieved.

On the morning of April 22 in Hanoi, when there are about 20 days left until the 31st SEA Games, the congress Sport Southeast Asia will officially enter the competition and the organizers are delighted to welcome a new sponsor.

Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) is the 7th Diamond sponsor for the congress. The new sponsor provides support for the following items: Internet channels and monitoring operations at press and television centers, information technology centers, card centers, eSports centers and 37 competition venues. in 12 provinces and cities; deploying SMS communication about SEA Games 31 to Vietnamese people.

According to Ms. Tran Thuy Chi, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vietcontent (the representative unit of consultancy, marketing and exclusive sponsorship for the 31st SEA Games organizers), the total value of new houses is up to 18 billion VND. With this figure, the sponsorship campaign at the 31st SEA Games officially exceeded the initial target (70 billion VND).

Despite achieving unexpected numbers, Mr. Tran Duc Phan, Deputy Director General in charge of the General Department of Sports and Sports, still hopes that there will be more sponsors for the event and for athletes. Up to now, no business has accepted a “hot reward” for athletes who have achieved good results in the upcoming SEA Games.

Phan said that the Vietnamese delegation will have a total of 1,348 members attending the SEA Games, of which 957 athletes will compete. From now to the competition date, the number of athletes participating may fluctuate due to injury, or regulations of the Games. If the subject or content does not have 4 teams or 3 athletes competing, the competition will be canceled.

The Southeast Asian Games often carry a stereotype of “village ponds”, because the hosts are willing to add their strengths to the competition and ignore the good content of the participating delegations. This is the reason why hosts always get the best results when they host.

Mr. Tran Duc Phan is proud of the fact that Vietnam is preparing for an unprecedented SEA Games: “SEA Games 31 is the first event that only organizes competition content at ASIAD and Olympic. That’s all. The host country often uses its own strengths and ignores the opponent’s strengths. We are determined to organize a fair SEA Games.”

SEA Games 31 will open on May 12 and close on May 23, but sports such as Soccerhandball and Kickboxing officially took place from 6/5.
