‘Bedroom’ house

Unlike other buildings, the housing complex of more than 400 square meters in India has a very distinct highlight. The group of architects believes that the requirements of the owner are quite different, the project will not have a bedroom.

The owner wants a space to organize parties and large family gatherings, but besides that, they also want to use this place to rest on weekends exclusively for their family of 4. them, where they can enjoy the outdoors, farm as well as bring family together. So there are not any bedrooms here. There is only one space on the ground floor equipped with sliding doors that can become a private space if necessary.

From that love of the owner, the approach of the architects team is to create a small house with lots of roof space, where large meetings can be held.

During the construction of the house, the idea of building an additional farm was formed, so we built an additional space to store agricultural products and also added a cow shed, this place is home to 2 cows. and their caregivers.

The house is a place to stay for the whole family, where the owner can feel the surrounding nature, temperature and other factors. The house encourages greater exposure to the outdoors by building thresholds that connect the inside and the outside – a system of large patios surrounding the main living area.

The building faces north and is located lower and at the end of a gently sloping site. A natural sloped roof system and drainage pattern are used to capture and direct rainwater to a nearby borehole.

Design from two large rectangular plots forming the main living area and entertainment area are built symmetrically to form a series of patios, entrances and courtyards.

The wall here is built from excavated soil and has a certain inclination, solidified by a layer of natural mud.

The roof tile consists of wooden trusses, the architects used red cedar wood and handmade bricks, and reinforced with cement to create the ceiling.
