Medicine is the leading discipline in the field of health, training general doctors. This is also the wish of many young people pursuing medical school and Nhu Nguyet is no exception. In addition to her great passion for the medical profession, Nguyet also has a second reason, that is, the medical profession is valued by society, and the ability to make good money. “That’s what many people say to me, and ever since I planted it and fixed it in my mind” – Nguyet confided.

In the end, the 2K3 girl with great passion and good academic record was determined and confident to pass the exam. Nguyen passed the university in the joy of herself and her family. “I feel like I’m in the clouds without knowing what’s waiting for me ahead,” Nguyet said.

“In the excitement of passing the medical degree, I thought that passing the university entrance exam was something big and great, so I was also “flying” along. In the end of year 1, I was at the bottom of the table because of the crime of delusion! Realizing, University is a very new environment that has to be memorized and actively memorized a lot more knowledge than other majors. The characteristic of medical school is that there are subjects that will study both Theory and Practice (at the Lab or Hospital), so 1 subject will have both Theory and Practical exam. And yet, with practical learning, students will be “touched” with templates, corpses, … along with new words – very difficult specialized words.” – Nguyet said.

“You must have heard many people say that being a doctor is great! Being a doctor is very rich! However, that is only the tip of the iceberg. Few people know what medical students have to learn, how to study and how much pressure is placed on those who follow this major. Minh Nguyet used to be quite depressed and wanted to quit school because it was not what I thought, because studying was too stressful. When you are exposed to a real doctor, you will learn to study medicine and do a real medical profession, it is difficult to have a dream economic source.”

If you look at the overall picture of a medical student, you will see that becoming a doctor is not easy to graduate. A student also has to study for 6 years, but as a doctor continuous self-study after that is much more important; And a large body of knowledge needs to be memorized and tested more than in other disciplines; The environment that is often exposed to the hospital has a high chance of infection. After graduation, it is difficult to practice immediately. And when you take care of the health of others, what about yours? Many questions have been raised by Nguyet recently.
