Mr. Ho Van Hoan, Deputy Director of Quang Tri Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that this is the first time the province has issued a resolution to support tourism development. The support level is also the largest ever.

The resolution assigns the People’s Committee of Quang Tri province to select a potential tourist destination, ensuring its feasibility. Four eco-tourism areas, the community will be supported up to 10 billion VND each. In addition, tourist spots and resorts are supported from 50 million to one billion VND to renovate the landscape, reception house, product display, toilets, signboards, parking lots…
In addition to cash support, businesses and individuals are also advised on policies and procedures for investment, business establishment, assistance in solving difficulties and problems in site clearance…
Businesses get support for multiple assets and can only get one per asset. If Quang Tri province has other policies with the same content, enterprises can only choose the most beneficial policy. The support is provided after the project comes into operation. Enterprises are forced to return the support money within 6 months if they violate the commitment.
