As the CEO of a technology company, Quang is inherently a sidekick. Quang graduated with a major in banking and finance and worked professionally at a bank. However, after about a year and a half, the young man realized that he was no longer suitable for this job.

Quang decided to turn to the field of information technology, which has been his passion and favorite for a long time.

Right from the high school years, Quang approached programming and participated in amateur computer competitions. Until college, he stopped studying programming.

“When I saw that banking was not suitable and intended to change direction, I started to learn and learn more about information technology by taking online courses as well as studying at the center,” Quang said.

One day, Quang decided to quit his job to apply for a job in a technology company to pursue his passion.

“When I decided to quit my banking job to join a technology company, most of my relatives opposed it because it would waste more than five years of college and work. At the same time with that age, transitioning to a completely new industry is very risky for the future. However, I was still determined because I knew I could do it,” Quang recalled.

As soon as he entered the technology field, Quang was in charge of programming work. During his time at the company, Quang realized that there was a lot of demand for businesses to digitize space, but there are not many units providing this service in Da Nang and the whole country in general.

Quang’s startup idea flashed at that time. Having a brother and many friends working in this field, in mid-2018, Quang officially started a business with an initial capital of 500 million VND.

VR360 was born, specializing in providing space digitization services. At the time, the service was relatively new to most people.

“The biggest difficulty in the process of starting a business is approaching and persuading customers. The reason is that this technology is quite new. Many units do not know or even know what technology the company provides, how to apply it. We have to help customers understand the value of technology that we bring,” Quang confided.

In particular, at the time of the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, causing a series of exhibition events to be postponed or canceled because of the social distancing order, Quang and his colleagues launched vrFairs – a platform for organizing exhibitions. virtual reality exhibitions and fairs, helping businesses break down that barrier.

This platform allows online organization of various types of conferences, exhibitions… through the simulation of the entire actual event space. Visitors feel like they are attending the actual event and can interact with the stall owner through chat, video call, purchase, etc.

Quang shared, this idea was cherished by Quang when the epidemic situation broke out in 2020. When ordered by the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology for a virtual reality exhibition for start-up businesses to ensure safety against epidemics. Quang immediately accepted the invitation and started to implement it.

Finally, the SURF 2020 event was kicked off on the vrFairs platform with the participation of hundreds of startups and units in the Central – Central Highlands region.

During the 2 years of the epidemic, vrFairs became a partner of a series of large companies and enterprises and entered the Top 10 finalists of the VietStolution 2021 Vietnam digital transformation solution search contest.

According to Quang, not only during the epidemic, but now or in the future, it can be applied because of the advantages and values ​​that vrFairs brings. The platform allows to expand the audience, not only in provinces but even other countries can attend the event; not affected by epidemic factors, natural disasters, weather; the organization period lasts indefinitely according to the needs of the customer; High interactivity and return to attendance. In addition, easy to collect and store data for evaluation, cost savings, and faster preparation time than a traditional event.

After 4 years of starting a business, up to now, Quang’s company has nearly 30 employees, 3 branches in 3 big cities: Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi.

Quang shared that in the coming time, he will promote technology development and platform marketing communications to units that have digital transformation needs.

In addition, the company is now launching a new project called Bizverse – a virtual reality world, where users can live, work, participate in fun activities, entertainment, shopping at stores. trade centers, virtual fairs…

Talking about his success, Quang humbly shared: “When I quit my job at the bank, I simply thought about pursuing my passion and doing my best with it. The passion that led me to my current position is a blessing that I really appreciate.”
