Long, my boyfriend is a very honest and likable person. I love you so much. We have moved in together in the same room as husband and wife. Long is not only attentive but also very caring and responsible for me. We plan to get married later this year.

Last Sunday, we had the day off work. Long took me to his house, introduced his parents. His house is in the countryside, although it is poor, it is peaceful. His mother was very kind and sincere. She made her own chicken, cooked a delicious tray of rice to treat me.

Long looked at the tray of rice and kept smiling. He said his parents were poor, usually only eating vegetables and soup, now she cooks such a hearty meal of rice, proving that she cherishes her future daughter-in-law. I’m very happy.

But at noon, after I finished eating, I brought my bowl to the kitchen and saw a dark room, with no door but only a thin curtain. Curious, I took a look inside and was shocked at the scene in the dim lights.

A woman with messy hair, wild eyes, half lying, half sitting, legs tied to the foot of the bed with a cloth rope. She was crying softly, holding a doll in her arms.

Seeing me stop, my lover hurriedly pulled me upstairs. He said in the room was his sister. After losing her first child to an accident, she was half awake and half asleep, so her husband abandoned her. His parents loved their daughter so much they took her home to take care of her.

– Every month, I send money home to take care of my sister’s medicine. I love you so much.

I looked at my boyfriend in shock. Why are you hiding such a big thing from me? It’s not that I criticize his poor family, but just thinking about having to take care of his half-sleeping half-sister-in-law for the rest of my life, I’m afraid I can’t do it.

I quickly asked his parents’ permission and returned to the city that afternoon. My boyfriend got angry and said he was looking at me wrong. How should I explain to you how I feel? If I get married, I don’t accept to raise my sister-in-law, will you accept it?
