To make “bait” easy to bite, these two young men also took pictures of many unrelated women and posted them on Facebook and sent them to “young pilots” to negotiate deals.

In particular, in order for the “young pilots” to trust the brokerage fee in advance, Huy ordered a fake citizen ID named Hoang Thi Thuy and used this fake document to open a bank account in Hoang Thi Thuy’s name.

Seeing that the account name is the same as Facebook’s name, many “young pilots” fell into traps and continuously transferred brokerage fees to these two scammers.

Initially, the police determined that with this trick, Quoc and Huy had appropriated 17 million VND in brokerage fees from many people.
