Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, CEO of Vietjet Air is the only one who can smile after a stormy week. Although HDB’s share price dropped by 4.3%, causing Ms. Thao to lose nearly 90 billion dong, VJC’s stock in the opposite direction increased by 1.6%, helping this female billionaire gain another 554 billion dong, bringing the total asset value to 35,175 billion dong, ranked 6th in the list of the richest people on the stock exchange.

With the remaining 9 people in the Top 10 including: Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Mr. Tran Dinh Long, Mr. Do Anh Tuan, Mr. Ho Hung Anh, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon, Mr. Nguyen Van Dat, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy, and Ms. Vu Thi Hien, the total value of assets has been “evaporated” after a week of transactions up to 18,700 billion VND.

Standing at number 9 is Ms. Vu Thi Hien, wife of Mr. Tran Dinh Long. With a slight decrease of 0.9% of HPG, the assets held by Ms. Hien decreased by 131 billion VND to 14,372 billion VND.
