Top 10 richest people on the floor were blown away by nearly 19 trillion dong in the past week

With the remaining 9 people in the Top 10 including: Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Mr. Tran Dinh Long, Mr. Do Anh Tuan, Mr. Ho Hung Anh, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon, Mr. Nguyen Van Dat, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy, and Ms. Vu Thi Hien, the total value of assets has been “evaporated” after a week of transactions up to 18,700 billion VND.

In which, Vingroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong, PDR Chairman Nguyen Van Dat, Novaland founder Bui Thanh Nhon, and Thai Holdings founder Nguyen Duc Thuy were the ones who suffered the most.

In the following ranking order, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong lost VND 6,467 billion after VIC dropped 3.72%. The asset value based on stock ownership of the richest billionaire in Vietnam is currently VND 167,514 billion.

Mr. Tran Dinh Long, Chairman of Hoa Phat Group, also lost VND 466 billion after HPG reduced its price by 0.9%. Currently, Mr. Long’s assets are 51,088 billion VND.

At the same level, Mr. Do Anh Tuan, Chairman of Sunshine Group, recorded a decrease of VND 464 billion when SSH, SCG, KLB, and KSF all dropped in price after the end of the week. Currently, Mr. Tuan’s asset value in these stocks is 43,283 billion VND, and he is still standing in third place.

The next two positions belong to the duo Ho Hung Anh – Nguyen Dang Quang, major shareholders at Techcombank and Masan. Mr. Hung Anh’s asset value has decreased by 485 billion VND to 32,651 billion VND; while Mr. Quang’s asset value decreased by VND 448 billion to VND 31,943 billion.

Two real estate billionaires, Bui Thanh Nhon and Nguyen Van Dat, are also those who suffered heavy losses in the past week. The value of NVL shares held by Mr. Nhon decreased by nearly 1,300 billion VND to 33,673 billion VND. Meanwhile, the value of PDR shares held by Mr. Dat dropped sharply by 5,288 billion dong to 15,815 billion dong.

Standing at number 9 is Ms. Vu Thi Hien, wife of Mr. Tran Dinh Long. With a slight decrease of 0.9% of HPG, the assets held by Ms. Hien decreased by 131 billion VND to 14,372 billion VND.

The other person in the Top 10 is Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy, founder of Thai Holdings, who lost up to VND 3,700 billion in just one week, mainly due to the sharp drop of THD stock (26%). Until now, Mr. Thuy’s asset value at THD and LPB is 14,756 billion VND.
