Train street cafe in Hanoi welcomes back customers with many big changes

With a bold nostalgic space along with a train passing at close range, the train street (Hanoi) used to be a tourist attraction. This 2 km long street was built by the General Department of Railways in 1956, including many rows of fourth-level houses stretching from Le Duan and Tran Phu streets to Cua Dong and Phung Hung.

The concentration in the train area was controversial because it was related to the railway safety corridor. The cafes here had to close in October 2019. After nearly 3 years, the special street gradually revived, but only indoor shops and restaurants were allowed to operate.
