Viettel builds the largest data center in Vietnam

According to the content of the Investment Memorandum of Understanding, Viettel will accompany the two localities to promote digital transformation in terms of digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy and digital society.

Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) has just announced a plan to build the largest data center in Vietnam with a total investment of 6,000 billion VND. ctv

Regarding digital infrastructure, by 2025, Viettel will invest in 4G and 5G infrastructure to cover broadband services for 100% of the population and fiber optic infrastructure to 100% of households. At the same time, Viettel evaluated the deployment of the largest data center in Vietnam with an investment scale of VND 6,000 billion.

Regarding digital government, Viettel deploys and provides smart control center services, a shared data center system for government operations and administration.

Regarding the digital economy, Viettel accompanies the government to promote and achieve the set goals: 100% enterprise using digital governance platform, electronic contract, digital signature. As for the digital management platform, Viettel is ready to provide 100% of businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.
