Viettel builds the largest data center in Vietnam

This is the content contained in the Investment Memorandum of Understanding between Viettel with Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts were signed at the Investment Promotion Conference in Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts chaired by President Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

According to the content of the Investment Memorandum of Understanding, Viettel will accompany the two localities to promote digital transformation in terms of digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy and digital society.

Regarding digital infrastructure, by 2025, Viettel will invest in 4G and 5G infrastructure to cover broadband services for 100% of the population and fiber optic infrastructure to 100% of households. At the same time, Viettel evaluated the deployment of the largest data center in Vietnam with an investment scale of VND 6000 billion.

Regarding digital government, Viettel deploys and provides smart control center services, a shared data center system for government operations and administration.

Regarding the digital economy, Viettel accompanies the government to promote and achieve the set goals: 100% of businesses use digital management platforms, electronic contracts, and digital signatures. Particularly for the digital management platform, Viettel is ready to provide 100% of businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.

In terms of digital society, Viettel accompanies the government so that all people in Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts can use smartphones and 100% of the population use electronic payment accounts.

Within the framework of the event, Colonel Cao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director, representative of Viettel presented 200 houses of gratitude to heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy families and poor households in the area. two districts of Hoc Mon and Cu Chi.
