What Wayne Rooney said about Man Utd’s decision to choose Ten Hag

Another very interesting development of European football is the signing of coach Erik Ten Hag by Manchester United. Old Trafford legend Wayne Rooney gave his assessment of this decision of the old team:

“Honestly I don’t know this manager very well. The person I know better is Pochettino when he worked in the Premier League, but I’m sure Man Utd did a lot of research before signing with him. The new coach and I feel that they have chosen the right person. I think this is the right decision and look forward to the return of the team in the future.

Wayne Rooney is currently the head coach of Derby County Club. However, this coach’s bigger goal is to work in the Premier League and lead his old teams like Everton or Man Utd.
