Viet Hung Park opposite the People’s Committee of Long Bien District has an area of nearly 160,000 m2 and is now seriously degraded after many years of not being maintained.
Viet Hung Park (Viet Hung Urban Area, Long Bien District, Hanoi) is located at the intersection of Doan Khue and Van Hanh streets, with a total area of about 157,237 m2.
After many years of being put into use but not being maintained, this park is seriously degraded. In particular, the embankment has subsided, the bridge railing and signs are about 80% rusted…
Although sloppy, badly damaged items and potentially dangerous, every day because of the lack of public space, many people still enter the park to play.
The project to renovate and upgrade Viet Hung Park about 74.5 billion VND is implemented in the period from 2020 to 2022. However, up to now, this park project has not been renovated.
People freely turn the park into a place to raise chickens.
Fishing equipment in the lake is left indiscriminately.
The road inside the park turned into a parking lot for many people.
The lake in the park becomes a fishing lake.
The grass is overgrown.
Degraded, rusty items.
The electrical system was also damaged.
Many people hang their clothes right on the tree branches in the park.
The fence surrounding the lake in many parts is sinking, leaning, seriously degraded but has not been replaced, causing unsafety. Most of the erosion-resistant concrete slabs come off the ground.
Garbage thrown indiscriminately.
