The railway opens to sell train tickets during the summer transport season from April 25

Transport Joint Stock Company rail Hanoi (Haraco) said that from 8:00 a.m. on April 25, the railway officially opened the sale of Thong Nhat train tickets to serve passengers traveling during the 2022 summer transportation peak from May 26 to August 21.

The railway will re-run the Thong Nhat passenger trains SE1/SE2 and prolong the journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City as before for the SE3/SE4 trains.

Previously, due to the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic after Tet, passenger demand dropped sharply, the railway temporarily stopped running SE1/SE2 double trains; shortening the journey of SE3/SE4 double train running only between Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City.

In the immediate future, the railway will open for sale 4 pairs of Thong Nhat passenger trains running daily on the North-South route, including: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8.

Afternoon Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City, train SE1 departs from Hanoi station at 22:15, arrives at Ho Chi Minh City station at 6:32; SE3 train departs at 19:25, arrives at 5:47. Train SE5 departs at 15:45, arrives at 4:45. Train SE7 departs at 6:00, arrives at 17:10.

Afternoon Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi, train SE2 departs from Ho Chi Minh City station at 21:10, arrives at Hanoi station at 5:40; Train SE4 departs at 19:00, arrives at 5:00; Train SE6 departs at 16h00, arrives at 4:17. Train SE8 departs at 6:00, arrives at 19:12.

In addition, to serve passengers traveling on routes, the railway also organizes regional train marks such as NA1/NA2, SE35/SE36 between Hanoi – Vinh, QB1/QB2 between Hanoi – Dong Hoi, SE17/ SE18 between Hanoi – Hue…

The southern region has the following train marks: SPT1/SPT2 between Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet, SNT1/SNT2, SNT3/SNT4 between Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang, SQN1/SQN2 between Ho Chi Minh City – Quy Nhon, SE25 /SE26 between Ho Chi Minh City – Quang Ngai, SE21/SE22 between Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang…

Currently, the railway is still selling train tickets to serve commuters during the holidays of April 30 and May 1. In addition to the previously established pairs of trains that are almost full, the railway has recently established more train marks on the Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang, Hanoi – Hai Phong routes.

Specifically, the railway runs more trains SNT6, SNT7, SNT8, SNT9, SNT11, SNT12.

Afternoon Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang, train SNT8 departs from Ho Chi Minh City station on April 22 at 20:40, arrives at Nha Trang station at 5:29. Train SNT6 departs at 19:30 on April 28, arrives at 4:40. Train SNT12 departs at 22:55 on April 29, arrives at 8:35.

Afternoon Nha Trang – Ho Chi Minh City, train SNT9 departs from Nha Trang station at 14:20 on April 24, arrives at Ho Chi Minh City station at 22:55. On May 2, ship SNT7 departed at 12:25, arrived at 20:43; Train SNT11 departs at 23h00, arrives at 8:38.

Hanoi – Hai Phong route, set up an HP4 train, departing from Hai Phong station on May 3 at 14:20, arriving at Hanoi station at 17:06.
