Two motorcycle models have just been “deathed” by Honda Vietnam

The clutch motorbike is one of the quite attractive products of Honda Vietnam. The Japanese motorcycle company offers in Vietnam 5 models for customers to choose from including Winner X, CBR150R, CB150R, MSX and Monkey 125.

However, at the present time, 3 models have disappeared from this list, leaving only 2 clutch models, Winner X and CBR150R.

According to Honda dealers, 2 clutch models, MSX and Monkey, have long been out of stock. Particularly, the Honda CB150R model is still in stock, but selling is quite slow due to its high price, while the newly launched Honda CBR150R sportbike model with a softer price is becoming a better choice for customers.

A representative of Honda Vietnam shared that the company has stopped importing MSX and Monkey, so information about these two models is no longer posted on its website.

It is very likely that Honda Vietnam will stop importing the above two models to clear the way to bring the new generation of MSX and Monkey to Vietnam. Because, the new Honda MSX was launched in Thailand in October 2020, while Monkey 2022 was just introduced in the middle of last year.

Before that, in October 2021, Honda also quietly removed the PCX model from the list of its scooters being sold in Vietnam. Honda only sells 5 scooter lines including: Honda Vision, Honda Lead, Honda Air Blade, Honda SH and Honda SH Mode.

Currently, Honda has not given any information on the import of a completely new PCX 160 for replacement, although it has registered for industrial design protection for PCX 160 in Vietnam. At private dealers, PCX 160 is currently distributed at a price of about 88 million VND.
