Speaking at the press conference before the second leg match against Jeonbuk, coach Kiatisak said: “The opponents of HAGL very strong in the first leg. We just came back for the first time after 17 years, so it is impossible to compare in terms of strength, bodybuilding, physical strength, tactical skills, experience, because they are all superior. Before the tournament, we also identified ourselves as the weakest team. But being weak does not mean participating in this playground for free, but must show the belief and expectations of fans for the gameplay and the brand that the team has built after 20 years. Especially to show a beautiful kicking style and be ready to play tit-for-tat with the opponent. Therefore, after 3 matches, although there were not very happy and unfortunate results, HAGL performed well and had a chance to win points or even win. In the second leg, we understood the teams. The players also have more experience playing against these teams, so we will definitely be more determined to get more than one point.”

Explaining the lack of use of young players despite registering quite a lot, Coach Kiatisak expressed: “In the Asian arena against strong opponents, playing experience and frame stability are still the most important factors to create a good game and hope to get points, so we have to prioritize. First use the best players and have a long history of battles. The introduction of young players of course depends on the time and progress of the game, we still pay attention to use to create opportunities for them to prove. Like the last game, I gave young player Huu Phuoc the last 15 minutes. Even so, she may be overly nervous, but nonetheless, it has created momentum for a better mentality.”

Meanwhile, defender Van Thanh acknowledged: “After 3 rounds, we understood the play of the 3 teams. If there is more preparation, HAGL will have better results than the first leg. The team had good and bad kicks at times, but the HAGL players had to play with all their might. With the support of the fans, we have to work even harder and hopefully make a better impression tonight.”

Assessing HAGL, coach Kim Sang-sik (Jeonbuk) said: “The Vietnamese team is strong both technically and tactically. HAGL has impressed through its cohesion and is really dangerous in quick counter-attack situations. Number 10 Cong Phuong and number 9 Van Toan are really effective. These two players are qualified to play in Jeonbuk as well as other teams in K-League. We must definitely prepare well to limit these strengths of HAGL.” And player Kim Bo-kyung affirmed that HAGL is very strong in the midfield, and if lucky, the Vietnamese team will have a result that is not inferior to the Southeast Asian teams in other groups who played well when winning against Korean clubs. . So when meeting HAGL again, Jeonbuk must be very focused, must have more cohesion, and be cooler to be able to bring about a good result.
