Non-public pre-schools, primary schools, and secondary schools do not segregate enrollments

In the school year 2022-2023, Hanoi will recruit more than 500,000 preschool children, 140,000 first graders, and 151,000 sixth graders.

According to the regulations of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the school year 2022-2023, the preschoolpublic elementary and junior high schools in the city will apply the online selection method to Admissions. Admission routes of schools are approved by the People’s Committees of districts, towns and cities. However, for non-public preschools, primary schools and junior high schools, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training does not segregate enrollments.

Non-public preschools, elementary schools and junior high schools have enrollments throughout the city. Depending on actual conditions, the school will develop a reasonable enrollment method in accordance with regulations, report it to the Education and Training Department for submission to the People’s Committee of the district, town and town for approval. Based on physical facilities, teachers and schools propose the education and training department to advise the People’s Committees of districts and towns to assign enrollment quotas to the school.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires schools to publicly post admission procedures, rights and obligations of students and parents before completing admission procedures for students.

Schools recommend that parents who wish to apply for and submit an application for their child to any school should carefully and soon the information posted on the official website of that school to understand the time and method of submitting the application. ; recruitment and selection examination methods; thereby accompanying and helping children equip themselves with necessary knowledge according to the requirements set forth by each school.

Non-public preschools, primary schools and junior high schools in the city will enroll students for the 2022-2023 school year right after the end of the 2021-2022 school year, specifically from May 28, 2022 to July 12, 2022. Schools must update the list of successful students into the electronic gradebook software by July 23, 2022.
