A mysterious liver disease in Asian children was discovered for the first time
The Japanese Ministry of Health has just discovered a mysterious case of severe acute hepatitis. It has been reported in the US, UK and 10 other countries, raising fears the disease is spreading globally beyond Europe and the US.

Currently, this strange disease is affecting at least 169 children, aged 1-16 years old in 12 countries. Cases have mainly been detected in the UK and other European countries.
