After approaching the “prey”, NT uses the “hotline” phone number to repeatedly call to confirm in order to build trust and let this person quickly transfer money to the account.

As soon as the money transfer transaction is successful, NT cuts off contact with the customer to appropriate money; at the same time hack this person’s account with the purpose of gaining the right to use it to erase traces.

Traveler’s account is blocked after transferring money to the subject.

According to the denunciation of Ms. NTH (29 years old, residing in Hanoi), in the middle of last March, to rent a homestay on Hung Vuong Street (Da Lat), she transferred more than 14.5 million VND of deposit to her account. On March 4, 2022, he continued to transfer 21 million VND to Lai Thanh Nha’s account number to rent a villa on Nguyen Huu Canh street, Da Lat city from March 17 to 19.

However, when receiving the call from Mr. CNT, the above villa owners said that no one had booked the villa on those days and confirmed that he had been scammed 42 million VND.

Similarly, Ms. NTND (resident in District 10, Ho Chi Minh City) presented to the authorities: When she learned that her family wanted to rent a villa in Tuyen Lam lake within 3 days with the amount of 36 million VND, Lai Thanh Nha request to transfer 18 million dong deposit to company account.

When Mrs. D’s family came to Da Lat, contacted Nha to get a room, she did not appear, replied that she could not arrange a room and promised to work with her partner to pay the deposit. Ms. D.’s family had to rent a room in another place to stay for 1 night and then return to Ho Chi Minh City. Regarding the deposit refund, Nha begged forever without doing it.

Mr. Kiet said that through initial verification, this company does not have a physical office, only sells rooms on Facebook and shows signs of fraud and tax evasion. The Center for Culture and Information of Da Lat City has transferred these denunciations to the Da Lat City Police for investigation and handling.
