Hanoi: Private kindergarten “headache” to recruit and train teachers

There are new students who register but can’t accept it, the number of students in a class is currently only two thirds of what it used to be, the scale of operation of the mother love child kindergarten in Hanoi is forced to shrink – because lack of teachers.

Teacher Dam Thi Phuong Linh, Mother Love Child Kindergarten Education System, Hanoi City said: “The current number of teachers can only guarantee such a number of students, if I want to receive more I have to recruit teachers, but It’s very difficult to recruit.”

Recruitment information has been continuously posted since mid-April, but only 30% of the demand has been recruited so far. The solution to increase wages to attract human resources has been considered by the school but cannot be implemented because its financial capacity has been severely affected after 2 years of the epidemic.

At Little Sol Montessori preschool education system, however, the number of teachers returning to work reaches more than 70%. But with the policy of continuously accepting new students, gradually restoring the scale, in parallel with teaching, training activities are also promoted. The training course time is also arranged flexibly to ensure the quality of personnel.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Manager of Little Sol Montessori Kindergarten said: “We have now accepted more than 200 new students. With specific subjects, teachers are required to undergo training to ensure the quality of the educational program will only lead to the class. Training activities are maintained to be ready to resume operations”.

Restoring operations as before, there are still many difficulties that schools private preschool must face to face.
