Share price is one of the most talked about topics by shareholders at Coteccons’ 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on the afternoon of April 25. Many shareholders said that they have great faith in the company, so they persist in holding CTD shares for a long time. Answering questions on this topic, Coteccons President – Bolat Duisenov confided:I received hundreds of messages, many shareholders were not satisfied, expressed their complaints directly, directly to me. I take note of it all. A lot of questions about this year’s results, what will happen next year.”
He humorously added: “I held this position for about a year and a half, I often received hundreds of messages from shareholders. Some are complaining, some are threatening and I almost feel my skin is thicker, my face is thicker than before.”
The Chairman emphasized, the stock market is not for short-term speculators. Should look at the fundamental qualities of the company, when investing must have faith in the company’s capacity. Mr. Bolat is confident that CTD’s share price will increase again by the end of this year.
“Coteccons has about 1,800 employees. We are responsible for those 1,800 families. As the Chairman, I must uphold the spirit of solidarity. Before coming to Coteccons, I was an investor. When approaching any company Any company, before looking at the financial numbers, I look at their people.Coteccons is a company with a solid foundation despite the articles and information.
We have a bright future. We need to look to the long-term future when making decisions. What we have done in 2021-2022 is to do our best, no one does 50% but even does 100-200% of effort.” Mr. Bolat shared with shareholders.
Also at the General Meeting of Shareholders, another shareholder agreed with Coteccons in the view that during a difficult period, the Company focuses on protecting the interests, lives of employees and the quality of the works. Answering this conundrum, Coteccons Chairman said that everyone always wants to find the best balance.
“In any value chain, all teams are working with commitment, transparency. And you see the chair table sitting here, each with their own expertise, to dialogue with shareholders. We always aim to take care of the interests of shareholders, but we also see that revenue – profit is collected from customers.
And who brings in the revenue? Those are our people, our employees. If we can guarantee their jobs and lives, they are the ones who help us and bring value to our customers. Those things will show up in revenue – profit results in the long term. A balance point must be found that benefits both parties. Besides, from time to time, it is necessary to prioritize the interests of one party.” Mr. Bolat shared his views.
