The lowest version of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class model in Vietnam market has a starting price of 8.2 billion VND. It is expected that this luxury sedan will be launched in the third quarter of this year. Meanwhile, the more advanced version of the Maybach S 680 is expected to be introduced in August 2022, earlier than the S 450.
Compared to the S 680 version, the Maybach S 450 does not have too many differences in equipment and design. The main difference from the exterior lies in the more distinctly designed 20-inch wheels. Inside, the interior is covered with glossy black wood with alternating veins.
The biggest difference of the Maybach S 450 compared to the more advanced version is the engine block. Mercedes-Maybach S 450 4Matic uses an I-6, 3.0-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 367 horsepower, 500 Nm of torque, accompanied by EQ Boost mild hybrid technology (Mild-hybrid). ).
Mercedes-Maybach GLS 480 4Matic
A cheaper version of the Maybach GLS 600 has also been officially introduced in Vietnam. In terms of design, the GLS 480 and GLS 600 are exactly the same. This luxury SUV will be available at domestic dealers in July this year with the price of 8.4 billion VND. This price is significantly cheaper than the genuine GLS 600 “elder” distributed at a price of VND 11.5 billion.
Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S 4Matic+
Besides the Maybach, Mercedes-Benz models called AMG were also mentioned in this press conference. The first is the GLA 45 S 4Matic+ version – the most advanced version of the GLA series, a rare true sports crossover model genuine distributed in Vietnam.
The “money” point of this model is the world’s most powerful 2-liter twin-turbo engine block, for a maximum capacity of 421 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, along with an automatic transmission. 8-speed and 4-wheel drive system (4Matic), Thanks to that, this model can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 4.3 seconds.
MBV said that the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 will return to the country around the third quarter of this year. The official price announced by the company is 3.43 billion VND.
Mercedes-AMG SL
For the first time, the high-performance version of the SL series is officially distributed in Vietnam. This is the oldest sports car line of the German brand in history. The presence of this model will replace the AMG GT line that was officially distributed in Vietnam.
In the global market, Mercedes-AMG SL currently has 3 versions: SL 43, SL 55 and SL 63 respectively. It is not clear which version MBV will distribute. However, the price disclosed by this joint venture ranges from 7-8 billion VND.
In addition, MBV said it will also introduce two other AMG-branded models, the 2022 GT 53 4Matic and G 63, in May and later this year, respectively.
Mercedes-EQ
In addition to the above products, MBV will also bring the Mercedes EQS to Vietnam in the fourth quarter of this year, coinciding with the time of the Vietnam Motor Show (VMS 2022) taking place. The EQS model will open the door for the appearance of the Mercedes-EQ electric car brand in the country. The price of this model is still kept secret.
Mercedes EQS is positioned in the most advanced segment, having the same size as the S-Class with a length of up to 5,265 mm. The EQS interior brings more surprises with a huge OLED screen system extending from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat called Hyperscreen, with an 8-core CPU configuration, 24GB of RAM and the latest MBUX software. For the standard version, the EQS uses the same 12.8-inch screen as the new generation S-Class.
