Ninh Binh develops a green tourism population with the largest number of bamboo trees in Southeast Asia

Specifically, the program of Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival in Nho Quan district is organized annually by the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh with the aim of ethnic minorities to exchange culture and cuisine, especially specialties. The highlight of the green tourist complex is the bamboo works of the largest type in Southeast Asia, such as the reception house built from 23,000 bamboo trees and the Convention Center with 113,000 bamboo trees; Bamboo restaurant is more than 1,000m2 wide, has a height of 15 meters (equivalent to a 5-storey building) built from more than 70,000 bamboo trees to serve conference activities, team building… All these works are not using metal materials to connect the bamboo stalks, but instead using special techniques to join with sharp bamboo sticks and parachute strings and in the future this population will have a Cultural Museum Muong with a scale of 1,000 m2.

Sharing about the green tourism population, Mr. Le Quoc Thinh, Director of Cuc Phuong Tourism Service Joint Stock Company (Vedana Resort) said: “In order to make these bamboo constructions, we have carefully studied them. The interesting thing is that all bamboo constructions do not use any metal materials in the bamboo body or connect the bamboo stalks together, but we use a special but very traditional technique of bonding. bamboo stalks together by sharpened bamboo rods and tightly braided parachute cords. This technique cannot be done by everyone, but only skilled, talented and really knowledgeable workers can do it.
