The most impressive highlight of the opening day of the 2022 Fansipan Rose Festival is the parade of roses. More than 40 vehicles, including antique cars, trams and bicycles, along with groups of artists and actors from ethnic groups in Lao Cai created a beautiful romantic rose parade along the streets of the town. .

At the stops of the parade, visitors excitedly interact with floats and artists. Experiencing the festival for the first time held in Sa Pa makes many visitors very excited. Within the framework of the festival, Sa Pa Town People’s Committee and Fansipan Cable Car Travel Service Co., Ltd signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of coordination in building tourism programs and tourism products. tourism on the basis of potentials and strengths of Sa Pa in order to arouse the cultural traditions of the local ethnic communities; Preserve and promote the values ​​of cultural heritages and relics in Sa Pa town; create products that attract tourists to visit and experience. Accordingly, the two sides will coordinate to organize a series of 5-season tourism events in Sa Pa town, associated with the brand Sa Pa National Tourist Area and prepare well the conditions to organize programs, event to celebrate the 120th Anniversary of Sa Pa Tourism in 2023. This cooperation agreement will be the foundation for Sapa tourism in the coming year to have more interesting products and activities to attract visitors.

Sapa’s specialty climbing persimmon is starting to bloom. It is expected that from now until April 30, the unique rose arches will be dyed red in the flower valley. Here, from April 29 to May 2, the 4th Horse Hoof in the Clouds race will also officially take place within the framework of the festival, with the participation of 30 jockeys from many Northwest provinces.
