Have you ever wondered why dating is so difficult? You’ve met many people, but after only one or two dates, the other party “silent and disappeared”?

In a psychological study of nearly 1,000 volunteers, scientists from the University of Nicosia in the Republic of Cyprus found “11 most annoying factors when flirting”, including: Hsuperficial, lack of investment, not serious in the relationship; Poor hygiene; Lack of special attention; Thinking too differently; Vulgar language; Lack of intelligence; Arrogant; Lack of humor and self-esteem; Excessive intimacy; Poor appearance; Scrimp.

The bad thing is that many people don’t realize that their inadvertent habits, or flirting tactics they think are good, are making the other person uncomfortable and “squeezing” a potential love relationship as quickly as possible. .

According to the research team,The first thing to avoid is superficiality. Instead, taking the time to care, learn, arrange a date in a polite place and show your serious intentions for the relationship will help leave a good impression on the other person.

Other factors to avoid during a date include: profanity, swearing, poor hygiene, easy self-pity, and being too pompous.

Besides, avoid expressing yourself too much. A person who lacks knowledge and intelligence will not make a good impression, but if he shows himself too much, brags about his qualifications or prides himself on his ability, it also makes the other person feel uncomfortable.

Finally, poor looks and stinginess are also factors that break flirting relationships.

“Young people will have a higher percentage of success if they know how to invest in the relationship, avoid making vulgar, sexist, and overly intimate remarks. It is especially important to avoid flirting too much. people at the same time,” said scientist Menelaos Apostolou.

According to Menelaos Apostolou, young people should improve their flirting ability as well as their “attractiveness” by improving their appearance. For example, taking care of the skin and hair neatly, trimming, cleaning the toenails and nails before going to the appointment.

Do not be stingy, nor should you assume that the other party has to pay for the date. Whether you’re a man or a woman, offer to pay the bill. The outcome depends on how the two people deal then so that both of them feel most comfortable.

From this study, a team of scientists from the University of Nicosia suggests that women are more sensitive to men and that almost all of the above 11 factors make them uncomfortable.

The cause may stem from the maternal instinct. They will have children and raise children so instinctively urges them to be strict when dating so as not to make the mistake of choosing a life partner.

It’s worth noting that this list of 11 annoying things in a love relationship changes with age. Young people are more geared towards having a “love relationship experience” with different partners rather than establishing a long-term intimate relationship. For this purpose, they lower their standards, becoming less sensitive.

Meanwhile, as we age and have more relationship experience, we will be more interested in finding a long-term partner. And so there is a higher standard of choosing a date and “closing” that relationship.

Scientists hope their findings will be useful for long-term “sick” young people to find their true love soon. It also provides mental health professionals and psychologists with more information to help clients struggling in this area.
