Dispute arising from a land dispute, a 62-year-old man in Binh Phuoc was slashed to death.
Police in Binh Phuoc province this afternoon (April 25), are holding criminal detention for Mr. Nguyen Tan Le (62 years old, living in Binh Phuoc) to investigate the act of murder.
The victim in this murder is Mr. Nguyen Quang Ly (62 years old, living in Phuoc Long town, Binh Phuoc province).
According to initial information, in the morning of the same day, Mr. Nguyen Tan Le went to the land in Long Giang commune, Phuoc Long town to clean the garden. At this time, Mr. Nguyen Quang Ly also brought a can of lawn spray to this site to clean up.
Because this land had been disputed before, the two argued, leading to a fight. At this time, Mr. Ly rushed to hit Mr. Le with his hand but did not hit. Angered, Mr. Le took a garden machete and slashed many times into Mr. Ly’s neck and head, causing the victim to fall to the ground and die soon after.
After committing the crime, Mr. Le went to the police station and confessed to his crime.
