On April 26, the People’s Procuracy of Can Tho City has just approved an order to prosecute the accused, arresting Le Nghia Tinh (27 years old) and Ho Quang Tai (27 years old), living in Thot Not district, for the act of “murder”. .
According to initial investigation, around 11am on April 18, Mr. Au Cong Bao (41 years old, in Thot Not district) drank with a group of friends. While drinking, Bao said there was a conflict with Tinh. After that, Bao and a group of friends went to Tinh’s house to “talk”.
Bao and Tinh quarrel and fight. Love ran away, Bao’s group chased but couldn’t make it in time, so they went back to drink again.
Le Nghia Tinh then recounted the incident of being chased by Bao’s group to Quang Tai. By the evening of the same day, Bao and his group of friends continued to go home to find Love. At this time, Tai was also present.
During the fight, Tinh took two homemade knives to cut Bao. Seeing that, Tai immediately grabbed a knife and slashed at Bao. A group of friends of Bao and Tinh, Tai rushed into a fight. Tai holding a weapon with a scissors blade stabbed Bao many times. Bao was taken to the emergency room but died.
After committing the crime, Tai and Tinh took the weapon and fled the scene. Love was arrested soon after, and Tai went to the police station to surrender.
The Can Tho City Police Department is investigating and clarifying the case.
