Vietnamese people look for more advanced services after the epidemic

According to the latest survey on Google travel search, Vietnamese people are ready for post-Covid-19 trips.

Google has just released search data in Vietnam in March. Accordingly, Vietnam is forming a group of people called “revenge tourists”. These are people who want to travel again after the epidemic, are willing to pay for premium options, eager to move to make up for the time gap because of Covid-19.

Searches for “best luxury hotel” increased by 71% in Vietnam. Vietnamese people are gradually becoming more comfortable with traveling abroad. In January, Vietnamese people’s intention to go abroad was only 25% compared with the same period in 2019. But this number increased to 50% in March, when tourism opened. According to statistics, Vietnamese people prefer to go to big cities like Bangkok, Dubai, Paris, Osaka, New Delhi. Demand from international visitors to Vietnam improved significantly in the first quarter. By the end of March, tourists from the US, Australia, France, Singapore and Japan have a high desire to travel to Vietnam. Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi are the top destinations. My Tho and Bac Ninh are two provinces with significant growth in search results, with 75%.
