Specifically, those who ran longer distances were 28% more likely to have more intense orgasms.

Experts say jogging strengthens the pelvic muscles involved in orgasm and helps improve blood flow to the intimate area.

“Our study found that the women who ran the most had more intense orgasms,” said researcher Shanny Sade, from Ben-Gurion University in Israel.

“The reason could be better clitoris circulation, better pelvic floor muscles, increased confidence, or a combination of these.”

GPs should use the results of this study to remind women that running has more benefits than just keeping fit, the researchers say.
