Covid-19 news today April 27, Vietnam added 8,004 cases of Covid-19, down 427 cases
In the past 24 hours, the whole country had 8,004 new Covid-19 cases recorded in the country, down 427 cases compared to yesterday in 58 provinces and cities. Of which, there are 6,688 community cases.

The localities where the number of infections decreased the most compared to the previous day: Phu Tho (down 158 cases), Ha Tinh (down 116 cases), Quang Ninh (down 104 cases).
The localities that recorded the highest number of infections compared to the previous day: Lam Dong (up 169 cases), Ben Tre (increase of 144 cases), Quang Binh (increase of 72 cases).
Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has had 10,631,516 infections, ranking 12th out of 227 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per million people, Vietnam ranks 104 out of 227 countries and regions territory (on average, there are 107,469 infections for every 1 million people).
Particularly for the fourth outbreak (from April 27, 2021 to present), the whole country has 10,623,767 cases, of which 9,160,315 patients have been declared cured.
Localities with high cumulative infections during this outbreak: Hanoi (1,583,541), Ho Chi Minh City (608,160), Nghe An (480,717), Bac Giang (385,033), Binh Duong (383,309).
Regarding the treatment situation, the total number of cured cases is 9,163,132, currently 624 oxygen patients are 624 (52 cases of invasive mechanical ventilation, 1 case of ECMO).
From 5:30 p.m. on April 26 to 5:30 p.m. on April 27, 5 deaths were recorded in: Ben Tre (1), Dak Lak (1), Dong Nai (1), Soc Trang (1), Vinh Long (1). This is the day the country has the lowest number of Covid-19 deaths in the past 10 months.
The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam so far is 43,034 cases, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.

Regarding the testing situation, from April 27, 2021 up to now, 39,493,305 samples have been tested, equivalent to 85,792,898 turns of people.
Regarding the vaccination status, the total number of vaccine doses administered was 213,317,994 doses. In there:
+ Number of injections for people aged 18 years and over is 194,952,182 doses: 1st dose is 71,439,602 doses; The second dose is 68,623,069 doses; The third dose is 1,505,891 doses; The additional dose is 15,220,699 doses; The booster dose is 38,162,921 doses.
+ Number of doses for children aged 12-17 is 17,357,398 doses: 1st dose is 8,896,813 doses; The second dose is 8,460,585 doses.
+ Number of doses for children from 5-11 years old is 1,008,414 doses (1st dose)
