Mr. Dat said that South American dragons are raised for about 2 years before they reproduce. The breeding season falls in early October, lasts until December. Depending on the size and condition, they can lay 20 – 70 eggs, the hatching rate is over 80 – 90%. Incubation time is about 5.5 months before hatching.
In order to raise South American dragons with high efficiency, according to Mr. Dat, it is necessary to make the farm so that it is close to the natural environment, the most important is sunlight.
As for the South American dragon breed, Mr. Dat said, he only sells from 2 weeks of age and older and eats strongly. Because the South American dragon breed is 2 weeks old or more and eats strong, it’s easy to raise, with little loss.
Currently, Mr. Dat breeds and sells popular lines such as Hypo, Abino, Green, Red… In which, the Green and Red lines are sold in the most quantity because of the player’s budget. For baby dragons adopted from 2 weeks old can be sold, the price ranges from 500,000 to more than 2 million VND/head (depending on type).
South American dragons are domesticated as strange pets in the West.
Regarding food, South American dragons are vegetarians, their food is usually vegetables, must be washed and chopped. According to Mr. Dat, in addition to light, temperature and type, food is also a factor affecting the pigmentation on the skin of the South American dragon.
The camp is only about 100m2 wide, designed with many floors with about 50 steel cages. Each cage is about 80cm wide and 1.6 to 2m long, depending on the size of the animals.
