Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ Gets Part Two

According to Variety, On April 26, director Matt Reeves announced information on behalf of the studio at the annual CinemaCon event. The American filmmaker continues to direct the project but declined to divulge details. Dilettante Robert Pattinson will return as the main character Bruce Wayne, the superhero Batman.

Part one of The Batman released in March, is a remake of the DC superhero franchise of the same name. The work opened with 134 million USD in North America, the second best achievement in this market after the outbreak of Covid-19, only after Spider-Man: No Way Home (260 million USD). To date, the film has earned 759 million USD and is the highest-grossing blockbuster since the beginning of the year.

The Batman is likened to a gamble by DC and Warner Bros. The script revolves around the period Bruce Wayne after two years becomes the superhero Batman.
