All signatories to the Glasgow Climate Compact are committed to decarbonizing tourism and restoring and protecting ecosystems, providing visitors and host communities with a more balanced experience with nature. The 538 signatories of the Glasgow Climate Compact include all types of stakeholders, among them the DRV German Travel Association, Tanzania Tour Operators Association, Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, PATA and Hostelling International; tour operators such as EXO Travel, and Europa Mundo Vacaciones; accommodation providers such as The Cayuga Collection; DMOs such as Turismo de Portugal, Turisme de Barcelona, ​​West Sweden Tourist Board, London & Partners, Destination Québec Cité and many others. All adhere to the main principle of restoring nature as “the key to the tourism industry’s post-pandemic recovery, as well as future prosperity and growth”.
