Upgrade from the inside out, stronger but more “wibu”, priced from 51 million
Recently, ASUS has officially introduced the next version of the product line Zephyrus G14 to the Vietnamese market. This is a generation of dynamic compact gaming laptops, aimed at users who have to move and possess a different design compared to simple gaming products.
Like its predecessor, ASUS Zephyrus G14 2022 retains the typical design style with the A face covered by large CNC holes. When combined with the mini LED below in the ANiMe Matrix version, it helps to reproduce the images and writing according to the wishes of the consumer.
ASUS said that on the new version, the number of holes punched on the Zephyrus G14 is up to 14,969, which is more than double that of the old generation. Not only that, the size of these holes is also smaller, only 0.6mm in diameter, combined with an outstanding number of LEDs up to 1449, so the visibility on the G14 2022 also gives better details and brightness.
The display changes are all built into the Armory Crate software that ROG users are so familiar with. Here you can be completely active in choosing the display type from images, sounds to animations or text. Besides, in this new version ASUS also integrates more classic minigames, allowing them to be displayed on the A side in pixel format, providing a unique and different personalized experience.
In addition, Zephyrus G14 2022 also owns some changes in the design of the hinge edge, integrating the system indicator light to look more modern and advanced.
Made from magnesium alloy, the G14 weighs 1.72kg and the chassis is only about 19.5mm thin. Combined with the compact size, carrying the device with you is quite easy. The machine continues to use the ErgoLift hinge that opens 180 degrees to help create a raised bottom to increase heat dissipation.
The keyboard area of the Zephyrus G14 2022 is also neat and somewhat “gentle”, not as angular as its predecessor. This year, the Touchpad area of the device has also been upgraded to become wider, promising a convenient and easy use experience.
The two sides of the Zephyrus G14 2022 are fully equipped with connection ports such as a Micro SD card reader, 2 USB-C that support DisplayPort / Power Delivery, HDMI 2.0b, 2 USB-A and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Zephyrus G14 2022 uses a 14-inch screen with QHD + resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. With this ratio, the frame is now slightly extended vertically, giving more visibility to office workers.
This screen has quite thin borders, along with it is Pantone Validated standard for the ability to display 100% of the DCI-P3 color range. Moreover, the 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time, applying MUX Switch technology to enhance FPS are the parameters “worth the money” for gamers.
Through this, ASUS also officially introduced its new screen standard ROG Nebula, which will include the above parameters for easy reference for users.
This year, the ASUS Zephyrus G14 2022 is equipped with an internal configuration that completely uses AMD CPU and GPU. Specifically, the processor of the machine will have the highest option, AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS with Radeon RX 6800S graphics chip.
The machine uses a battery with a capacity of 76WHrs, for office use time through the test of up to more than 10 hours of operation.
Currently, ASUS Zephyrus G14 2022 will have two versions corresponding to changes in CPU (Ryzen 9 6800HS/6900HS), GPU (Radeon RX 6700S/6800S) and RAM (16GB/32GB DDR5). The price for each version will be VND 50,990,000 and VND 58,990,000 respectively.
