8 years of struggling in the US, how is the life of supermodel Ngoc Quyen now?

Used to be a popular model on the Vietnamese catwalk and appeared in many popular movies for a while such as Tropical snow, Messy hair girl, Step beauty, Mother-in-law…, Ngoc Quyen made many people regret when she gave up showbiz to marry Dr. Rechard Le and moved to the US to settle down in 2014. Her marriage lasted only 3 years and since then, the long legs of Saigon have worked. single mother in foreign country.

At first, Ngoc Quyen worked many jobs to earn money to cover her living expenses, including standing at discount sales in shopping malls. Thanks to knowing how to put aside the past glory and do any honest work diligently, living frugally, the beauty born in 1988 gradually has capital to develop an online business in the state of California. To support sales, she often makes models, mixes clothes, does makeup and does hair by herself to take photos fashion share on social networks.

Life is getting easier and easier. Outside of work, Ngoc Quyen takes advantage of beauty treatments, hanging out with friends or discovering new things in the US.

She shared her outlook on life: “Women should always be friends with themselves so that when they are sad, they can still confide in themselves and overcome difficulties. No one has enough time to share your sadness. Listen to your feelings and don’t force yourself to do things you don’t like. You have to love and appreciate your own love because if you don’t value yourself yourself, don’t expect others to appreciate you. Living life for yourself is really great, being yourself and loving yourself will make you happy.”

In the early days of April, Ngoc Quyen was reunited with her biological mother after 2 years of separation due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Life with her mother and son Jaraiya Le beside her gives the former model more motivation to overcome difficulties and assert herself in a foreign country.

“I don’t understand why I have been in the US for 8 years, but now I feel so peaceful. Everything feels like the beginning of a new page. The first thing I did was cut my hair, I wanted to dye it a really bright and rebellious color. For the past two years, I’ve been so busy that I have to cut my hair at home, cut it off and then trim it back at the salon. I don’t care if it’s pretty or not. The color also chooses black so that when it grows out, it does not need to be dyed. Do you think one day you will be like that?

When I wake up in the morning, I don’t feel alone anymore. People can say they’re fine, but really okay or not, it’s only when they have other options that they know all they’re doing is suffering.” Ngoc Quyen confided.

Regarding love affairs, Ngoc Quyen is quite secretive after the breakup of her marriage. There have been rumors that she has a new boyfriend, but Ngoc Quyen has never once clarified. On her personal page, she only shares fashion images or everyday moments with family and close friends.

Experiencing events and difficulties in her private life, now looking back, Ngoc Quyen sees everything “like a dazed dream” and is no longer passionate about love. The beauty confided: “Once upon a time, I was engrossed in my love path. Maybe that’s how I am, I usually use all my energy for one thing, but I can’t do 2-3 things at once. When I failed, I struggled to find another love to fill that void. And so, over and over again I slipped in love.

With work, I am usually quite lucky and loved and supported by many people. It is easy for me to meet noble people, they say they see in me the sincerity and gentleness, so they just want to help. Time and again I gave up everything I had in pursuit of fleeting affection. It is just a dazed dream for the lonely Mau Thin. Now I no longer enjoy listening to sayings or writing love stories. Just reading it makes me sick to my stomach.”

Currently, Ngoc Quyen focuses her time and energy on business and enjoys the warmth of having her mother and son around.
