In order for people to participate in traffic smoothly and safely, the Traffic Police Department has proposed traffic separation plans in Hanoi City, specifically as follows:

1. Case 1: Phap Van – Cau Gie – Ninh Binh route and national highway 1A from TP. From Hanoi to Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and vice versa, if the vehicles cannot circulate, the channel will be divided as follows:

1.1. At Vuc Vong (if going along Cau Gie – Ninh Binh highway) or Dong Van (if going along National Highway 1A) in Ha Nam province:

1.1.2. Vehicles from the South to the Northwest, North and vice versa: Turn left to National Highway 38 → National 21B → National Highway 21A (Ho Chi Minh Road) to Hoa Binh, Son La, Phu Tho provinces. Vinh Phuc, … or by provincial road 429 → CIENCO 5 → National Highway 70 (Hanoi);

1.2. In Liem Tuyen (Ha Nam province):

Vehicles from the South to Hanoi, Northeast provinces and vice versa: Turn right along National Highway 10 to Nam Dinh → National Highway 21B (or National Highway 21) to Ha Nam, Hanoi and from National Highway 21B (Ha Noi). Vehicles from the South to Hanoi, the Northwest provinces and vice versa follow National Highway 12B to Hoa Binh, Son La, Dien Bien provinces or to Hang Tram town (Yen Thuy district, Hoa Binh province) along Ho road. Ho Chi Minh City (National Highway 21A) through National Highway 32 to Phu Tho province, Vinh Phuc.

2. Case 2: Highway 32 contiguous with Hanoi (South Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem) the vehicles cannot circulate, the channel is divided as follows:

3.1. Vehicles from Yen Bai and Phu Tho provinces to the Northeast provinces (Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen) and vice versa:

– At IC3 Node (Binh Xuyen): IC3 Node → Provincial Road 310B → National Highway 2A → Vo Van Kiet → National Road 5.

– Vehicles from National Highway 2A follow the main road of Me Linh urban area (or National Highway 23) → Vo Van Kiet → Hoang Sa → Truong Sa → Dong Tru Bridge (National Highway 5) → Ly Son → Nguyen Van Linh and vice versa.

3.2. Vehicles from Yen Bai and Phu Tho provinces to the Northwest provinces (Son La, Hoa Binh) and vice versa:

-At IC 8 (Viet Tri intersection): Lac Long Quan → Van Lang bridge → Trung Ha bridge → Highway 32.- At IC 4: Vinh Yen city → Vinh Thinh bridge.

– From National Highway 2 → National Highway 2C (via Vinh Thinh Bridge) → National Highway 32 → National Highway 21A to the intersection of National Highway 21A with Hoa Lac – Hoa Binh Road (CT08) turn right or through Xuan Mai town intersection turn right must go to the Northwest.

Vehicles from National Highway 21A to the intersection of Xuan Mai town go directly to Ho Chi Minh road to the southern provinces.

4. The Hanoi – Thai Nguyen expressway and National Highway 3 (the section bordering Hanoi) cannot circulate, and the traffic is divided as follows:

From National Highway 3 → Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway → National Highway 1B (near Phu Dong Bridge) to the Eastern, Northeastern, Southern provinces…and vice versa.

Vehicles from Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway → down Highway 3 to Hanoi (intersection of Highway 18) → National Highway 1A to Bac Ninh, Bac Giang or turn right to Vo Nguyen Giap to go to southern provinces and vice versa again.

5. The old National Highway 1A and National Highway 1 routes (provincial road 295B) in Bac Ninh province are divided into:

Vehicles from Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh provinces to the southern provinces (Ha Nam, Ninh Binh) or the northeast (Hung Yen, Hai Duong…):

From National Highway 1A → National Highway 38 → National Highway 5 and vice versa.

6. National Highway 5 (section contiguous with Hanoi) the vehicles cannot circulate, the channel is divided as follows:

6.1. Vehicles to Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho… and vice versa:

From National Highway 5 → Tien Trung intersection turn left → Highway 37 → Sao Do intersection turn left → National highway 18 → National highway 1B → National highway 18 (Bac Ninh – Noi Bai road) → National highway 2A → go to Vinh Phuc , Phu Tho and vice versa.

From National Highway 5 through Tien Trung junction → National Highway 37 → Sao Do intersection → National Highway 18 → National Highway 1A → Hanoi – Thai Nguyen expressway and vice versa.

6.3. Vehicles going to the Southern and Northwest provinces (Hoa Binh, Son La…) and vice versa:

From National Highway 5 through Pho Noi intersection turn left → Highway 39 through Hung Yen city → Yen Lenh bridge → Dong Van intersection (Ha Nam) → National highway 38 → National highway 21B → Provincial road 76 → Te Tieu → Ho street Ho Chi Minh → go to Hoa Binh and vice versa.

7. The Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway can’t allow traffic to flow, and the traffic is divided as follows:

7.1. Dividing traffic at the Ring 3 intersection:

Ring 3 → National Highway 5 intersection and vice versa.

7.2. Dividing traffic at the intersection of Highway 39:

Intersection of National Highway 39 → National Highway 39A to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) → National Highway 5 and vice versa.

7.3. Dividing traffic at the intersection of National Highway 38B:

The intersection of National Highway 38B → National Highway 38B → National Highway 37 to Ho Chi Minh City. Hai Duong → National Highway 5 and vice versa.

7.4. Traffic division of Highway 10 intersection:

National Highway 10 intersection → National Highway 10 → Long Thanh intersection (An Duong – Hai Phong) → National Highway 5 and vice versa.

9. On National Highway 6, vehicles cannot travel, and the channels are divided as follows:
