At dawn on April 21, two other robberies with similar tricks happened in Bac Tu Liem and Cau Giay districts, the victims were both riding motorbikes alone.

After receiving reports from the victims, the authorities intervened. On April 22, the Hanoi Criminal Police arrested all the subjects in the above bandits. Subjects include: Nguyen Huu Hung (SN 2003, in Tay Tuu, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi), Dam Xuan Long (SN 2004, in Lien Ha, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi), Dam Xuan Huy (SN 2006). , in Tay Tuu), Le Quang Viet (SN 2002, in Minh Khai, Bac Tu Liem district), Nguyen Huu Tinh (SN 2005) and Bui Xuan Duc (SN 2006, both in Tan Lap, Dan Phuong district).

These subjects all dropped out of school early, had no jobs, often left home to play Internet games. Around March 2022, through drinks, the subjects got to know and then became close friends. This group often gathers at the game shop in Tan Lap commune, Dan Phuong district.

Because he did not have money to eat and drink, Hung invited other people to drive motorbikes, wandering on the roads to find “bait”. When they discovered young people walking alone, Hung’s group immediately approached, blocked, or threatened to use a weapon to rob motorbikes.

After robbing the property, Hung posted on a car sales forum. Facebook named Ha “baby” (Nguyen Thanh Ha, SN 1998, in Thai Binh) contacted to buy from 4.9 to 5 million VND. After buying it back, Ha “dissected” the car to get parts to sell. From the testimony of Nguyen Thanh Ha, the authorities arrested a ninth person related to the above bandit, Tran Huu Dat (SN 1990, hometown of Nam Dinh), and seized 75 motorbikes. All of Dat’s motorbikes are undocumented, with unknown origins.

In addition, at this age, it is easy to fall into play, easy to be manipulated, seduced, acted without thinking, impulsively, until being arrested, they do not even understand the seriousness of the case. job. However, the main cause of crime in teenagers and young adults is complicated family relationships.

Specifically, Nguyen Huu Hung – the head of the bandit said that he had three sisters in the family, but only his mother occasionally asked questions, and his father hardly cared. The reason is because Hung is both stubborn and naughty, so his father hates him. Hung’s mother is busy with making a living, so she let her children be free, not in charge, when they want to go, they can go, when they come back, they can come back. As for Le Quang Viet, his parents are divorced, and Viet lives with his father. However, since his father married another wife, Viet fell into a depressed situation, often quit playing games, then made bad friends.
